Borderless Voices: NAPT Open Mic of Defiance & Verse invites participants to share poems to speak out against the attack on the lives and rights of immigrants, their communities and allies. What needs to be spoken in this moment? What refuses silence? This virtual gathering offers an open space—without a featured reader—for stories that celebrate resilience, challenge injustice, honor immigrant lives and contribute to the safety and dignity of all. 

To honor hosting our conference this April in Chicago, all proceeds from this event will be donated to The National Immigrant Justice Center. You can learn more about the work of NIJC here.
