The National Association for Poetry Therapy is offering three types of scholarships:
NAPT is committed to inclusivity and broadening our membership base. For this reason, this year we are offering eight scholarships of $200  each to first-time conference attendees from under-represented backgrounds. We hope this will help to increase the diversity of our membership.

NAPT also has two $200 scholarships available for first time attendees who are educators working towards their certification who wish to attend the conference.

NAPT is offering two regular $200  scholarships for first time attendees
We encourage everyone to apply, particularly those experiencing financial difficulties and for whom the registration fees would be a hardship. To apply for either one of these scholarships,  please submit your name, e-mail, regular  mailing address, and major field of endeavor, along with a brief essay of no more than 500 words indicating your professional/ educational links to poetry therapy and reasons for wishing to attend the NAPT conference.
The deadline for applications is March 1st. If you have already registered, you may still apply. If you receive the scholarship, NAPT will reimburse you the cost of your scholarship.  An announcement of winners will take place by March 15th.
