HOSTED BY NAPT PRESIDENT CYNTHIA HOLLOWAY KELVIN, PsyD, RDT/BCT, CPT
This NAPT Poetry Circle gathering is to support poetry therapy facilitators' practice of reading and writing poetry as a means of reflection and self-care.
Do you often find it challenging to find time to write or make it a priority when you have the time?
Part of being a poetry therapy facilitator includes giving yourself the opportunity to enjoy reading and writing poetry outside of your professional responsibilities.
Come join us for this dedicated hour, where we begin by sharing a poem and prompts, inviting you to reflect or spend the time on your own writing projects while working alongside those in our poetry therapy community. We will close our hour-long circle by offering opportunities to share parts of our writing or reflections on the writing experience.
Cynthia Holloway Kelvin, Psy.D., RDT, CPT, is a licensed clinical psychologist whose work centers on creativity, with specialized training in drama therapy and poetry therapy.
