The National Association for Poetry Therapy Presents

Write Into Your Most Aligned You in 2026!

facilitated by Jennifer Zarin-Nickman, LCAT, RDT, CPC

Workshop Description:

How do you want to show up in 2026? What’s most important?

The possibilities of a New Year can be so many things- inspiring,

motivating, intimidating, energizing and more. In this workshop,

you’ll explore what’s most alive for you, from a place of mindful

journaling, tuning into your body, mind and spirit, with expressive

writing, poetry and the breath as your guides. Go beyond resolutions that might fizzle within a few days, weeks or months, to creating intentions aligned with your authentic self that encapsulate motivation and inspiration. Learn what holds the seeds of transformation for you, and create action steps for the year ahead!

Sharing is encouraged, not required. No previous experience

necessary. Bring an open mind and your favorite writing tools.

About the Facilitator:

Jennifer Zarin-Nickman, LCAT, RDT, CPC is a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist, Certified Journal to the Self Instructor, Expressive Writing Facilitator, Writer, Performer and Creative Coach with over fifteen years of experience, based in New York City.

Jennifer works with empathic, creative clients to help them claim or reclaim their full selves, including accessing various parts of themselves that may be hidden, silenced or dormant, through journaling, drama, metaphor and creative arts.

As a Certified Journal to the Self Instructor, Expressive Writing Facilitator and Coach, she teaches specific journaling techniques used to access these different parts, greater creativity, awareness, joy, and clarity in life and relationships. Through writing, you’ll tap into your inner wisdom, a deeper sense of focus, self-compassion and healing.

Jennifer facilitates live, virtual workshops, groups and courses with adults and teens. She’s Founder and Writer at Journal Your Path, an online international journaling community and newsletter. You can learn more about upcoming courses and join the community at journalyourpath.substack.com.

When not writing or facilitating transformative journaling circles, she enjoys making up songs with her toddler.
