What is MY story? The one that is being told in various manners throughout my life? What need does it serve? We need stories to turn life experiences into meaning. But sometimes, stories can narrow and limit our perspective. In The Hero's Journey, be it a realistic or fictional, the essence of the story is change: The main character is called to leave his or her familiar world and march into the unknown. They embark on a journey, not knowing what is coming their way. But one thing is for sure: At the end, they will not be quite the same as they were before. In this workshop, we will explore and experiment different ways to modify, expand and play with our stories as a way of growth, development and self-discovery.
