Join Zach Katz MHC-LP, MSED on Sunday, February 7th at 7:00 ET for a fun night of poetry, spoken word, music, and/or storytelling from the comfort of your own home! Each night of NAPT's Virtual Open Mic will begin with a featured poet or musician, followed by an open mic. Our featured poet for this month is Leah V.

Leah V is a New York based performance poet, event host, spoken word workshop specialist and curator. Rooted from the Bronx, New York, Leah's content offers a nostalgic reflection upon her upbringing as well as an exploration of cultural identity, mental health and the vast emotional spectrum of a woman in her 20's. Leah V recently completed a two year residency with Inspired Word, the 10 year running open mic series dedicated to live performance art throughout NYC, founded by renowned journalist Michael Geffner. Most notably, she has headlined four shows at the infamous Triad Theater and recently received the Missouri Audio Prize for the recording of her piece entitled "Doncellas". https://www.leahvspeaks.com/
