Gayle Danley, writer, educator and 1996 International Slam Poet Champion, lives in Baltimore, Maryland, and travels the world sharing the multifarious powers of poetry. Her explosive style combines movement and emotion, sweeping her audiences up in her words as she explores contemporary issues through poetry. 60 Minutes spotlighted how her classroom work and riveting performances touch her audiences. She says of her work, “I want people to connect. I want them to relive an experience.”
