National Association for Poetry Therapy – Annual Conference

Land of Enchantment:
Exploring and Embracing
Diversity through Poetry Therapy

April 2-5, 2020
Embassy Suites by Hilton, Albuquerque, NM

I am aware that many of you are concerned about the status of our annual conference, given the coronavirus(COVID-19) threat. Based on the latest information from the CDC, emails and calls from presenter and registrants, extensive documentation from well-respected people and institutions relating to other organizations and institutions  who recommend canceling events and forbidding travel, and the unanimous recommendation from the NAPT Board,  this year’s conference has been canceled. Although this has been a sad and difficult decision to make, the well-being of our presenters and attendees as well as all those whom they have contact takes precedence. Further information will be provided on this site and directly to conference participants.
