Participants are invited to stay at the newly renovated Embassy Suites by Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor Hotel, featuring free made-to-order breakfast and a complimentary Evening Reception*. This convenient downtown Baltimore hotel offers an ideal location in the heart of the business district, just 10 miles from Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI). Enjoy proximity to the famous Inner Harbor, National Aquarium and Science Center, fine shops, dining venues, and the Mt. Vernon Cultural District, all within walking distance.

With the exception of the April 10th Wednesday Pre-Conference Day Trip, all workshops, lectures and special events will be offered at The Grand, which is connected to the Embassy Suites by Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor Hotel.  All pre-conference and regular workshops are described in the conference program on the website www.poetrytherapy.org/conference.html. (See additional information to follow on accommodations and meals.

Please make sure you fill out the form correctly and check the total cost of registration and any membership fees and discounts. Your registration is not complete until payment is received. You should receive both a registration confirmation AND a PayPal receipt when you are through — If you are missing either of these, first check your spam filter, then contact us at naptbkkr@poetrytherapy.org  as soon as possible.

***If you are a not yet an NAPT member, you may join for 2019 when you register for the conference in order to receive the discounted conference rate for members only. Please choose the appropriate payment option below.

REFERRALS

Once we receive the registration payment from your referral, you will receive a $25 rebate off your registration. Please contact our bookkeeper Mary Johns at naptbkkr@poetrytherapy.org if you have any questions about the referral process or registration fees.

REGISTRATION CHOICES

Full Registration includes Thursday evening and all Friday/Saturday activities, luncheons on both days, plus presentations at the Grand, which is part of the Embassy Suites Baltimore Inner Harbor Hotel. Breakfast is included at the Embassy Suites with your lodging fee. (See Lodging and Meals section)

CEUs
For those needing CEU's for mental health licensure renewal, you may sign up at the conference indicating the hours attended, and an NAPT Certificate of Attendance for Continuing Education will be e-mailed to you. Educators needing Continuing Education for their professional development may sign up for Certificates of Attendance for specific Education-focused workshops.

What counts as peer hours for CAPF, CPT and PTR trainees at the NAPT April 2019 Conference?
  1) The Triple Workshop (4.5 hours);
  2) Other Workshops at least 75% experiential, facilitated by a person with a CAPF, CPT, or PTR, or by a credential candidate in supervised training.
All other workshops and keynotes count toward the didactic requirement for trainees.

Workshop seats are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. We will make every effort to accommodate preference but do not guarantee placement in the preferred workshop. Workshops fill up quickly. NAPT will make alternate selections if your first and second choices are at capacity.

MAKING YOUR RESERVATION FOR LODGING

Make Reservations for Lodging directly with Embassy Suites by Hilton, Baltimore Inner Harbor in advance PRIOR to Tuesday, March 25, 2019. (Please do not try to make reservations through a travel website.) The earlier you book your room, the more likely you will be able to get one at the Embassy Suites.

This includes a, a queen size bed and a pull-out sofa in each suite; free made-to-order breakfast; and a complimentary Evening Reception, featuring a variety of drinks and snacks in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Make your reservations early, as rooms will fill up.

Attendees are to call Super Shuttle directly to arrange their own rides. If you wish to share a ride with others that you know, you must make those arrangements ahead of time and book the reservation under one person’s name.
