The Use of Poetry, Writing and Story:
Promoting Unity, Transition and Hope

41st Annual Conference - Virtual
April 27-May 1, 2022

Join NAPT in April, 2022 as we meet for our next VIRTUAL conference. We are honored to present as our Keynote Poet, Richard Blanco, past inaugural poet and one of the most beloved and influential poets and storytellers writing today on Saturday, April 30, 2022. We are putting safety first and plan to offer our conference virtually, as we did in 2021. We are in the process of planning some inspiring events and enriching workshops for all professionals interested in using poetry and other forms of writing for training and for use in their work with those who are in need of personal growth and healing through poetry and other forms of the written and spoken word.

Call for Proposals

NAPT will be accepting proposals for the upcoming conference from September 1st until the deadline of October 15th. We welcome submissions from clinicians, educators, spiritual healers and other helping professionals who use poetry, story, journaling and other forms of writing for personal growth and healing. Proposals geared to our themes of Unity, Transition, and Hope are welcome, as well as those featuring techniques with diverse populations.

Please fill out the “Call for Proposal Form” in it's entirety, and send it to Barbara Kreisberg, Conference Chair at no later than October 15th. Late submissions will not be considered.
