TThe National Association for Poetry Therapy Foundation (NAPTF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation chartered in 1993. Its purpose is to support the field of poetry therapy and to receive tax-deductible donations, endowments and grants from individuals and organizations to further the goals and purposes of the NAPT and the field of poetry therapy. The charter goals and purposes of the Foundation are "to operate exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, including but not limited to, promoting the education of professionals and the public concerning the field of poetry therapy, sponsoring meetings, seminars, and conferences in the area of poetry therapy, and encouraging and promoting research and educational opportunities in the area of poetry therapy."

Although the Foundation is young, it has already established both long-term and immediate giving programs to support research, education, projects, training and clinical practice in poetry therapy and applied poetry facilitation.

All donations to NAPTF are fully tax-deductible under IRS regulations. Your donation in any amount may be designated for a specific purpose or may be left undesignated, to be applied where it will best serve the poetry therapy community. You may make your donation on-line by charging it to your MasterCard or Visa account through our PayPal online account. A receipt will be provided for tax purposes at year end.
